Inspired by the parachute webbing used by the French Navy “Marine Nationale” dating back to the 1950s, this elastic fabric was first used on the Tudor Submariners by the French troops during the era where watchheads were supplied without straps to the military, allowing the "Marine Nationale" to simply improvised by using their elastic parachute braid on their toolwatches.
We are now offering our Paratrooper Elastic strap, a vintage inspired classic to all watch lovers with the same workmanship, durability and without the high cost of entry.
1. Made of nylon and natural woven rubber combination to ensure excellent stretch and fast dissipation of moisture
2. Light weight with smooth finish on the nylon webbing for comfort and better wearability
3. Length adjustable without the need of traditional buckle and pinhole. Uses a clasp hook system instead.
