Our vintage distressed leather in versatile Dark Indigo is sourced from Tannery Badalassi Carlo from the Tuscany region of Italy. The leather hide is vegetable tanned and is of medium firmness with a matte distressed finish. As the leather is vegetable tanned and full grained, it will patina over time and develop a richer and lustrous shade of colour.
The strap is side stitched with cream coloured M30 linen thread for the vintage styling and then edge painted with matching colour for extra sealing and protection. There is no breaking in required on this strap, it is soft and contours the wrist well from day one.
The inner lining is made from smooth Zermatt leather from Tanneries HAAS in France, the same type of lining commonly found in Hermès bags.
